For HR teams
Interview for technical roles without being an engineer
Audicite is an interview assistant for HR and hiring teams. Invite it to a Zoom, Teams, Google Meet or Webex interview, or record in the room, and you get a live transcript with every speaker named. Factual and technical statements the candidate makes are checked against documentation, standards and trusted sources while the interview is still going, each with the exact source sentence and a plain-language explanation, so a recruiter without an engineering background can tell a sound answer from a confident one and ask the right follow-up. Audicite never scores, ranks or recommends candidates: people make every hiring decision.

Who it is for
- Recruiters and HR partners screening technical candidates
- Hiring managers and interview panels who want one shared record
- HR teams running workplace investigations, exit interviews and town halls
- Talent teams at companies hiring engineers, data scientists and other specialists
What Audicite does
- Joins your video interview as “Audicite Notetaker”, a guest the host admits, or records in person from a laptop or phone
- Checks technical and factual statements live, citing the exact sentence in documentation or another trusted source
- Explains each check in plain words, and flags answers that are disputed or cannot be verified so you can ask a follow-up
- Checks answers against your own documents too: the job description, a technical rubric, your handbook
- Writes neutral interview notes with the Hiring interview template: questions, answers, checked statements and follow-ups, each linked to its moment
- Keeps a searchable record for the panel, with comments, roles and your retention policy

How it works
- 01Invite Audicite. Paste the interview link or connect your calendar. Tell the candidate the interview is recorded.
- 02Interview as usual. The transcript and checks appear live. A flagged answer is your cue for a follow-up question.
- 03Debrief with the facts. Share neutral notes and the checked statements with the panel. People decide.
Examples
A technical screen
A recruiter hears “Kafka guarantees exactly-once delivery by default” and sees, live, that the documentation says otherwise, with the sentence cited, and asks how the candidate handled it in practice.
Workplace investigations
An exact, speaker-labelled record of each interview, with quotes verified against the audio and a timeline the investigator can cite.
Exit interviews and town halls
Themes and actions from exit interviews, and figures leaders quote in an all-hands checked against your own documents before the recap goes out.
Policy and benefits questions
Answers given in onboarding or HR clinics checked against your handbook, so the record shows where an answer matched policy and where it did not.
Questions
Does Audicite decide who to hire?
No. Audicite checks statements against sources and writes neutral notes. It never scores, ranks or recommends a candidate, and it does not analyse voice, face, emotion or accent. Hiring decisions stay with your people, which also keeps it out of the automated decision tools that laws such as New York City’s Local Law 144 and the EU AI Act regulate.
Do candidates need to know?
Yes. Tell candidates the interview is recorded and transcribed, and get consent where the law requires it (some US states require everyone’s consent). Audicite joins as a named guest that the host has to admit, so it is never hidden.
Can it check answers in any technical field?
It checks factual and technical statements that published sources can settle: how a technology works, what a standard says, what a library or service does. Opinions, design choices and personal experience are not rated. When there is no source, the answer is marked unverifiable, never guessed.
What happens to the recordings?
They stay in your workspace. You set how long sessions are kept, deleted sessions wait 30 days in Trash, and nothing is used to train AI models.
