Transcribe live

Turn on the microphone and watch the words, speakers and claims appear as people talk.

  1. Choose Start live transcription, on the home page or on Sessions. The first time, verify your email with the code we send.
  2. Allow the microphone when your browser asks. Recording starts straight away.
  3. Text appears within about a second.

The transcript follows the newest words. Scroll up to read back and it stays still; choose Take me to live to jump back to the newest line.

Pause and resume as often as you need. When you stop, the recording is processed again for the most accurate final transcript and speaker labels.

Tip: Use a headset or a lapel microphone for interviews: it cuts room noise and improves speaker separation.
